With CNC technology, there is a new system to help manufacturers
control deflection or “canoe effect” in bending applications with
bed lengths greater than 1.2 meters (4 feet).

The system provides manufacturers the flexibility to precisely adjust
compensation curve deviation caused by bending
long parts.

In the past, increases or shims were used to solve these types of problems, increasing the cost in the adjustment time (set up).

At RF our bending machine has this system that allows us to adjust the longest bends and achieve uniformity in the piece.

Bending machine operators can adjust this variable from the machine controller, offering fast, high-precision adjustment, leaving out the techniques of the past.
